Kids, just being

Hello all! This is my first journal entry. I spent the day with my 2 kids at Sandcastle water park. We had a ball! Got home and little girl passed out on couch, snoring. It's amazing how kids love water. I wonder if it's a natural throwback to being in utero or something else. A friend commented today that my kids are part fish. Yes, we are aquatic beings in many ways. I love floating on my back and letting the water absorb most of the sounds. It's like a sensory deprivation experience. I really relax during those times. My kids both seem happiest when they are swimming. They play with each other, me, other kids, it's wonderful. They are totally relaxed and just being.
I'm working on enjoying the "just being" part of life. Kids are so natural at it. They don't worry how they look or who's watching them or what the crowd is doing. They do what they want and enjoy it in the moment.
